PAX CHRISTI NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED STARTING FEBURARY 1, 2025
Attn: Ladies groups/Council of Catholic Women's groups: The Superior Diocesan Council of Catholic Women invites every parish of the Diocese to actively participate in this program by submitting one nominee from your parish. This award is presented by the Bishop of the Diocese of Superior to recognize and honor a catholic woman in each of our five deaneries with remarkable dedication and contributions in their respective parishes. Starting February 1, 2025, applications and additional information will be made available to parishes within the Diocese of Superior and may be found on the Superior Diocesan Council of Catholic Women website:

Dear Directors of Religious Education and Youth Ministers,
The Superior Diocesan Council of Catholic Women has initiated a program entitled, “The Golden Rose Award Program!”
The goal of the program is to recognize and promote the value of young women who make a difference in their parish and community.
The SDCCW is asking that you consider nominating a young lady – high school age student, from your parish that is active in parish and community activities.
The award recognizes one girl, nominated from a parish, whose lifestyle exemplifies the mission statement of the National Council of Catholic Women reflected by actions of Spirituality, Leadership, and Service.
Criteria for nomination:
These young ladies will be honored at a luncheon with Bishop Powers during the SDCCW Annual Convention August 1, 2025 Bishop Powers will be presenting the nominees with the Golden Rose Award and an Individual Student Membership in the National Council of Catholic Women.
Attached is a Nomination Form for you to submit.
Deadline is May 15, 2025.
