Greetings Dear Sisters in Council,
I was recently installed as your new Province Director for the Province of Milwaukee at the recent NCCW (National Council of Catholic Women) Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am looking forward to meeting and working with the women in the dioceses across Wisconsin and sharing my love of Council with all of you.
My council story starts in 1984 when I attended my first parish council of catholic women’s (CCW) meeting! My experiences with the CCW have given me a way to live my faith, serve others and make a difference in the lives of others. It has been 39 years since I attended my first CCW meeting! It has been a faith filled and joyful journey.
Having been a part of Council for those 39 years, I am familiar with all levels of Council having served in all officer positions except treasurer. I have also served on various Committee and Commissions: Spirituality, Service, and Leadership on all levels of Council.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and retired after a 41-year history of nursing. My husband Vic and I will be celebrating our 47th year of marriage in October. We have 3 married children and 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 3 – 14 years of age! I enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time with our grandchildren.
I enjoy meeting people, volunteering, and keeping busy with activities at my local parish and with the many activities the Holy Rosary PCCW is involved with. I will share this enthusiasm with all of you and work together building our membership and strengthening our Councils. Please keep me posted on the activities happening in your Councils.
